Why Use a Creative Agency?
There are so many DIY options now available when it comes to building a website. You have the likes of WIX, Duda, Squarespace and Weebly to name but a few. They all promise you can build your own site in minutes and be online before you know it. Now don’t get me wrong I think that these sites when used properly are very clever and do provide a great set of tools if used properly.
However it is these type of web solutions themselves that really provide the evidence as to why using a creative agency brings value to your business.
The Art of Design
Design is not and should not be an afterthought. If you employ a creative agency you are getting years of experience and it is this expertise that will give your brand a great opportunity to stand out from your competitors in a tough online environment.
A good professional web designer will know exactly what design elements, layouts and colours to use to engage with your current and future customers. A website that has been designed with creativity and marketing know how will give you a professional image that is far more likely to result in a successful business than one that has been done in a DIY fashion.
Focus On What You Are Good At
Hell, there is never enough hours in the day as it is. The hours that get spent on trying to figure out how to change the menu color and wondering why the logo disappears when viewing on your mobile could be spent on the most important thing. Doing actually what you are good at and what you make money from.
We recently refurbished the studio here at CFHQ and had the same Eureka moment. We were going to knock down a wall and skim the studio whilst we were at, when it suddenly dawned on us that we didn’t really know what we were doing and it was going to open a can of worms and be a much bigger project than we thought. So we picked up the phone, paid someone who knew what they were doing and we carried on doing what we know best – designing. Just made complete sense and total better use of time and resources.
Ok Google. Where My Website At?
If you build it they will come. Hmm.. Doesn’t quite work like that I am afraid. There is a lot of work that has to happen both behind the scenes and in how the page is presented and structured to get Google to take a fancy to you. A design agency will have the expertise when it comes to SEO to make sure a strategy is put in place and executed so your site is fully optimised to get the Google love. This is rather complex and is certainly not something you can just pick up and bash out in a couple of evenings.
Did I mention we are a creative agency? Be good to hear from you.
